Fc 51 Ir Sensor Datasheet Guide

A voltage comparator chip that processes the signal from the receiver to determine if an object is present.

Illuminates when the module is correctly powered.

The module uses an LM393 voltage comparator IC . The comparator compares the analog voltage from the photodiode against a reference voltage set by the onboard potentiometer.

Because the FC-51 outputs a standard digital TTL logic level signal, interfacing it with microcontrollers is highly straightforward. Interfacing with Arduino Fc 51 Ir Sensor Datasheet

Detects reflected infrared light.

Receives the reflected IR light from an object.

The module consists of several critical parts integrated into a single PCB:

Thanks to its compact size, low power needs, and instant response time, the FC-51 is found in numerous embedded designs:

Decreases the detection range (requires objects to be closer to trigger the sensor). Status Indicator LEDs The comparator compares the analog voltage from the

Illuminates when an object enters the detection range and triggers the output. Working Principle The FC-51 operates on the principle of infrared reflection.
